I'm hiding, I'm hiding and no one knows where...

I was getting the stroller and Al was getting the dogs, when we came in to get Eden, she had pushed herself backwards under the couch and was hiding :-)

A bird has been working on a nest in the hose hangout for a while now, and as you can see, has laid 7 eggs. I have not been able to capture the bird on camera, though, as I'm too noisy and it flies away. I also cannot use that sprinkler, for fear of disturbing the nest. Keep watching for updates on that. Think I can make it into the National Geographic??


























Eden came outside in the warm weather after supper and sat in the grass while I watered my gardens. She looked so serene in her jammies and bonnet, I had to snap a few photos. She loves the grass and is quite partial to small twigs, as well.

Happy Mother's Day to all you wonderful mother's out there~

My present found me yesterday when I was garage saleing in Kearney. I saw a sign and had to check it out. Then, my heart melted and the rest is history!

His registered name is Heart of Gold, but they called him Hardy. He is a 5 year old golden lab who came to our home this afternoon. He and Samson have been figuring each other out ever since! Hopefully, they will take on each other's GOOD qualities.

The first mess

Eden made her first 'mess' the other day. Now granted, it was a MINOR one, but her first, none-the-less. I put her down in front of the stereo, about a foot from the speakers (she likes to listen to music up close) and walked away. She was oddly content, so after a few minutes, I walked back to see that she had scooted on her butt over to the crock full of CD/tapes and was chewing contently on some lyrics. I was grateful the crock didn't land ON her....
