Olympic Fever?

Sitting by the TV, watching Team USA give up the gold at the moment. Maybe by the end of my blog, I can correct myself??

This week can be described in one word: sickening

Literally.

Eden puked all day on Monday. I cleaned up all day Tuesday. Lars threw up all day Wednesday. I cleaned up all day Thursday. Friday, everybody seemed back to health. I finished my antibiotics for a sinus infection/bronchitis and the family hung out and played. Saturday, it was my day to hog the bathroom with exclusive rights to the porcelain throne.

I would end it there, but that just doesn't seem right.

It was a fairly busy week, as well, mostly holding children in their respective rocking chairs.

Had company for supper on Tuesday, followed by a lengthy biblical debate. Wednesday, Daddy was at church all day and evening with confirmation and Lenten Service. Eden went to preschool on Tuesday and Thursday. Piano on Thursday. Saturday, Al came home to rescue me after a morning meeting at church. I laid around the rest of the day. Today, he preached at the nursing home after church & bible study. Meanwhile, Lars woke up from his nap sneezing with snot all over his face, which hasn't seemed to stop since I first wiped it. What did mothers do before Benadryl?

The 10" of snow is melting and looking lousy with the grass poking up. If the sun was shining, it would be tolerable, but it's cloudy with a misty fog instead. Think we'll stay in tonight with puzzles & Dr. Suess.

I guess it's time to turn the calendar, too, isn't it?
