Last weekend, we had the privilege of hosting Lars' Godparents in Bridgeport, while they were here to discuss with our congregation their mission trip to Canada. We also enjoyed a Thanksgiving dinner together Sunday afternoon. Well, those of us who weren't out on a car accident, that is.
Saturday was full of playing with The Drone, the typical tourist activities, including Carhenge, and catching up on 8 years worth of news. Eden rekindled her adoration of AJ, their youngest son, who was 6 years old when we left Wilcox, and Lexi, who fought with her sister years ago over who could hold Eden the most. Eden is a little too big to be bouncing on anyone's lap these days, but it was fun looking at the old pictures.
The last time The Jenkins were in Bridgeport was for Lars' baptism, 8 years ago. So the reunion was a long time coming and very joyous!
It was, of course, over way too soon, but Lars and Eden have not stopped talking about the visit. Not to be ignored, Elia was quite enamored with Skyler, who gave her quite a bit of attention and loving.
Thanks for the memories!
