Welcome to spring! Yesterday was the first day of spring, and we welcomed it by donning on snow boots, coveralls, and warm mittens. Even Samson only braved the weather to go relieve himself, then came right back in. Kearney reported 19" on the 6:00p news, and it was still coming down. Lincoln got 25" at that time. The weather channel crew was in Lincoln, it was that spectacular! Looks like more snow later this week, but first we have to unbury ourselves! This picture of Al shoveling was the 3rd time he'd shoveled the same spot in 24 hours. We decided shoveling 6" three times would be easier than 18" all at once.
