The hubbie suggested a title for today's blog, but I can't remember it. Something along the lines of..."not yet, stop calling". (Ok, so I added the last 2 words). Last week was very uneventful. I'm trying to keep up with the laundry and basic cleaning, so to have less to do postpartum. Since I had finished organizing my house to within an inch of its existence, I went up to the fire hall & gutted the supply room and re-organized that. It looks much better now.

On Thursday, Eden & I walked to the park & met up with Eden’s new friends, Mitchell, 3 and Jay, 11 months. She pushed Jay on the swing, then fought Mitchell for his monster trucks. They ran around and played for 3 hours while Amy and I chatted. It was wonderful!

I decided after a long week of sitting around and waiting for nothing to happen, that I needed a pedicure. It’s been a while since I could reach my feet, so I scheduled a ‘real’ one at the salon. Friday morning, after feeding and dressing Eden, I left the house to Al, and went uptown. An hour and a half later, I was walking on clouds, my Birkenstocks never felt so wonderful before! It was so uplifting. Definitely something that needs to be done regularly. And I’m glad to know that when my legs are up in stirrups and in people’s faces, that at least my feet and toes will look good!

No pictures this week, as the camera has been packed away to go to the hospital. You can ‘picture’ this, however. Yesterday, the 2 responsible adults were in the basement watching the race and the 2 year old disappeared. After several minutes of quiet, I wandered upstairs, only to find that Eden had crawled onto the island, opened the tub of freshly baked chocolate chip cookies, and was surrounded by at least 20 cookies. Many had already been nibbled on, some completely gone, I’m sure. Well, at least it was quiet for a while!

Induction scheduled for Thursday, the 20th, so check back after that for pictures! I’ve stopped hoping to go before then, in hopes that if I stop hoping, it’ll just happen
